Foreign crooks and cons

If you are routed to these crooks and hear Snap Travel, which you may or may not, hang up immediately. They ask for your credit card before even finding accommodations and then provide confirmation, but when you arrive at the hotel there is no confirmation or room available. They will not provide a refund.

Don't beg, don't cry, don't try to reason with these foreign con artists ( I say foreign because everyone we spoke to had an accent). Cancel your card and report it as a fraudulent change, which it is. Alert the BBB and write a review to alert other travelers.

Positive reviews are con reviews. There is nothing reputable or above board with these crooks.

This was my first experience with…

This was my first experience with Snaptravel and it happened quite by accident! I had absolutely NO ISSUES! Hotel even accommodated me with an upgrade and early check in since I was a Snaptravel VIP!! The price and accommodations at Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas were outstanding! My brother and family were in Panama City Florida with a hotel mixed up and I forwarded Snaptravel referral to them, they also located a great hotel at a great price last minute. I will check Snaptravel for future flight, hotels, and car rentals! Planning a girlfriends trip soon and I will absolutely check Snaptravel first! I would Highly Recommend Snaptravel!

Extra fees not in page where customers can easily see them

I booked from my phone. The extra fees are no where where booking takes place. It should be right below before a customer makes a payment and not on a separate page where most customers will not scroll on. I called for.my money back. I was told to call the hotel to authorize the refund. This is a bait and switch. Include all fees that a customer will be paying on the page where payment is being made so customers can be aware of resort fees like, cleaning fees and all.other fees. Like any other honest company

Team will not accommodate emergencies

Do not book with them!! I tested positive for COVID a few days before my trip. I sent snap travel documentation of my positive test result and requested that I get refunded as I did not want to put others at risk of getting COVID. They were very rude and non accommodating. All I asked was for a refund for one person as there were two other people that still went on the trip. I asked that they change the room accommodations from 3 to 2 which they did, but they refused to refund me my money. Do not book with them.
They are very difficult to work with and will not accommodate for emergency situations out of your control. I am out $600+ now.

Scammers

I want to give the zero star. They are pathetic site I recommend people don't use this site at all. If you want to spoil your trip you can definitely book from them. I have never experienced in my life like that. They are horrible I booked my hotel four days back when today I reached hotel they told we don't have any bookings. We two small kids with us. After that we started talking with the pathetic Coustomer service too they put us on calls for four hours. Highly not recommend. Protect your community by reporting this fraud scams, and bad business. Practices. I am going to do that for sure.

Terrible customer service, unsafe hotel

I booked a hotel in anchorage via snaptravel and upon arriving there were hypodermic needles in the parkinglot. Inside the hotel there was a drunk unconscious man sleeping in the lobby covered in vomit. A woman stumbled in and slept there as well. It was a very unsafe place to say the least. Several calls with Snaptraveles customer service resulted in a few very incinsere automated emails and no refund.

Ordinarily i would not ask for a refund when cancelling a booking but when they allow customers to book in an unsafe location they should own their mistake. The hotel said they would cancel our reservation free of charge so we know that snaptravel is just keeping that money for themselves. I will never book with them again.

Terrible Customer Service. Just Thieves.

They entered the dates wrong for my hotel and refuse to refund the money. I will not receive the hotel they've promised since I won't be anywhere near the area. They say it's nonrefundable but that is not what I actually clicked. Others have had this problem as seen with the Better Business Bureau

Worst vacation of my life due to the failure of the SNAPTRAVEL

I've been waiting for my refund since the day this trip started, that was over a month ago. Snaptravel was supposed to issue me a payment for 569 on 13 April it never came. Two weeks ago they were supposed to send me an additional payment for 404. It's a grand total of $974 for having to pay for an additional person all week because they made the wrong reservation. The reservation we paid for was for three adults all inclusive seven days. They made the reservation with the hotel for two people, how does that happen? So from our first day there we were constantly harassed to pay for additional days because Snaptravel did not resolve the issues while we were there. What would've happened if we didn't have another credit card with another thousand dollars on it? Since day one all they have given me his lies and excuses. As per their website and booking confirmation, all their bookings are 100% guaranteed, so where may I ask is the $974 they are supposed to refund us? When I made the reservation with them online I only used one credit card and that's a Visa. The last credit I have on this card is from when I made my credit card payment on 14 April. There are no additional credits and there are no credits from snaptravel. My bank says they have not received anything. I keep asking for someone from the urgent care team to call me back and update me with what's going on Yet my phone never rings! Since nothing seems to be working we are going to escalate a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well as this review. This should have been solved the day we arrived at the hotel and here it is a month later and it's still not resolved so I have no other options. Below is all the supporting documentation.

This is the worst company I've ever had to deal with in my life. Because of their lack of customer service and inability to do their job It just really ruined the vacation from the very beginning when they left us sitting in the hotel lobby for five hours to check in and they said that they were taking care of the problem. The hotel NEVER heard from them the whole week! In fact we would still be waiting there probably right now if we were relying on them. The only way we were allowed to check into our hotel room is to pay for the extra person out of pocket for the rest of the week paying as we went hoping they were actually going to make it right. I don't know what anybody else thinks but this is absolutely unacceptable. I would highly suggest staying far away from them and using a professional booking company. Just from the sheer number of complaints on the BBB and reviews on here I think everyone could make an educated decision to run far and fast from them.

Las Vegas Booking Apr 2021

I booked Encore @ the Wynn in Las Vegas for Memorial Weekend. A week later they sent me a txt message and email saying there was a "Technical Error". They wanted to swap me to Mirage for 66 dollars less or cancel. They just didn't want to honor the price they gave me. I could of fought it but I really didn't want to deal with the BS they told me. Everyone knows to book early for cheaper rates. If I didn't get my refund they would have gotten a 1 star.

Just text them "Agent" and every 15 minutes you'll get a text from someone pretending to help you. In reality it's all a scam to take your money and give you nothing. You can also can them at 877-778-2321 and you'll get a live person from someone in the south pacific who will steer you to the text chat. I guess phone calls cost more over there than text messages.

They offer very low prices on hotel rooms. The only problem is they don't actually get any reservations. It's fraud, and it's criminal.
